I’ve got three questions for you:
- What does she like/what is she into?
- What’s her love language?
- What did you get her last year/last closest holiday?
Let’s start with the first question. Knowing what she likes is a given almost, so hopefully, this is easy. However, if she’s a girly who likes everything, I’ve got ideas for you too! It’s the second month of the new year. New Year’s resolutions are in full swing. Is she working towards a goal for the year? Maybe there is something you can get her to help keep her motivated. But tread carefully with your wording around weight loss.
If she’s into self-care, revamp her skincare routine with some things she’s always wanted to try! Get her a professional facial or massage! If she’s a sporty girl, go more athletic with your buy this year. The point is to find out what she likes and build on that. Look at her Amazon cart or Save for Later list if all else fails! I promise there are a thing or five hundred there to pick from!
Secondly, you should know her language of love by now. If you’ve read my posts before, you know I’m all about the five love languages! Here are your options:

Use these as a guide. Does she hang on to your fantastic words or the cards you’ve written for her? Maybe you shoot for something that will speak to her through your own words
Quality time and gifts are a given. I mean that’s what we are here to do for Valentines Day! Does she crave your time? Plan something focused on just you and her, talking without phones and concentrating on each other. If she gets super excited about a gift, you know she will likely love anything you get her!
Acts of service are a little different. This could look like getting her skincare or waxing package at the local salon to have 2 or more services done. Think of things she already does and how you can build on them to take them off her plate.
Physical touch can get a little spicy (wink wink)! From a trip to the spa to a simple massage from you, you’re sure to win! A massager may even be great for times your hands need rest throughout the year. You’re welcome!
Finally, what did you get her last year? Or for the most recent celebration? Please don’t make the mistake of getting her the same thing you already got her. Think about how you can build on the previous gift or top that gift!
