When to start planning for Christmas
There’s no question about it. The answer is now, or as my mother-in-law would likely put it, the day after last Christmas! Many deals happen right after the holidays, with semi-annual sales, New Year’s deals, and clearance on holiday favorites. Why not start as soon as you see the savings? First, let’s get you in a sound place to start buying.
Budget
The biggest and smartest thing you can do to get ready for Christmas is to know your budget. Some may be able to ball without a budget, but we like to keep things in check and spend wisely. With a house already full of toys, we have to play it safe and plan for a healthy mix of items that are within our allotted budget.
